Playground Restoration - Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Dates:
- Saturday April 13th 10am-3pm
- Friday April 19th 4:30pm-9pm
Mansion Farm Maintenance Corporation is raising funds for the community to use on special projects that annual funds can not cover. The current special project priority is replacing playground equipment that is now 25 years old and near the end of service date. MFMC may need to refurbish or replace the existing playground equipment as per guidance in the neighborhood bylaws.
A MFMC board member has been working the UD concession booths for over 11 years and has previously raised funds for local high school athletic teams. She has since stepped down from that role and is now working to help our community with raising funds for community projects. 8-20 volunteers are needed for each event including: University of DE football, basketball, and special events (wrestling, concerts, etc.). MFMC appreciates any resident that can volunteer to help make our community better!
Uniforms are jeans (no holes or rips), sneakers, no jewelry and hair pulled back. T-shirts, hat/hairnet and credentials will be provided.

Get ready for some fantastic deals and treasures galore! We're excited to announce a spring neighborhood garage/yard sale happening on 4 May 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to declutter your home, find some unique items, and connect with your neighbors.
If you'd like to participate by selling your items, simply set up a table or display in your yard or garage.

Notices
Roof Shingles
Neighborhood deed restrictions require roof shingles to be 'Oxford Grey Heritage II by Tamko', but these shingles have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Because of the discontinuation, roof replacement proposals can be submitted that have shingles colored in the 'Oxford Grey' family.
Solicitation
Solicitation is not allowed within Mansion Farm. If someone comes to your home without a visible state issued Salesperson ID Card, Sen. Nicole Poore suggests in this letter that you call the non-emergency police number 302-573-2800 to report the incident.
Deed Restrictions
Mansion Farm is a deed restricted neighborhood. The MFMC board does not actively patrol the community looking for deed restriction violations, but they are required to follow up any complaints about violations that they receive from residents. When the board receives a credible report, it will follow up on all violations of the type that they see in the neighborhood.
Deed Restriction Violation Reminders:
- No trailers/mobile homes/commercial vehicles/RV's
- No permanent basketball hoops that are not in the backyard
- No temporary basketball hoops left for >48 hours
- No boats
- No trampolines
- No statues
